William Ryles (Larry) Obituary

Larry Ryles, 72, of LeFlore, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Salonia Free Will Baptist Church.

Larry was born on March 9, 1947 at home in LeFlore, Oklahoma to William Andrew Ryles and Troy Mae (Strickland) Ryles. He married Patsy Ann Hill on September 6, 1965 in LeFlore.

Larry graduated from LeFlore High School with the Class of 1965. He worked as a lease operator for Sampson Resources. Larry was a member of the Salonia Free Will Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon and Song Leader. Larry was a member of the Choctaw Tribe. He enjoyed gardening and music. He also loved working his cattle and land, fishing, and spending time his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Ann Ryles of the home; his five children: Tracy Simpson and Randy Shelton of Owasso, Terry Ryles of LeFlore, Kim Grogan of LeFlore, Brian Ryles and wife, Lori of LeFlore and Mike Ryles and wife, Jennifer of Poteau; 14 grandchildren; his sisters: Ollie Pierce of LeFlore, Mary Haynes and husband, Ronnie of Wister and Frankie Williams of Wilburton; his aunts: Wanda Madden of TX and Etta Landers of KS; and his uncle: Junior Strickland and wife, Carolyn of OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents: William and Troy Mae Ryles; and one grandchild.
