Wilda Dorlyn Stricklen, 84, passed away on August 21st, 2022, in Eufaula, OK. Wilda was born on February 15, 1938, in Leflore County to William Henry and Margie Louis (McClain) Shackelford. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1956. Wilda worked as a Administrative Assistant at the Army Ammunition Plant for thirty years until her retirement in 1995.

Wilda is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gail Waldrop and husband Kurt of Diana, TX; three grandchildren, Phillip, Nicholas and Jessica; and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Lina, and Lainee; sister, Anna Campbell of Eufaula, OK; sister-in-law, Glenda Shackelford of Eufaula, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Margie Shackelford; brothers, Lawrence, George, Harrell, Wendell, Larry, Billy and Roy Dean; sisters, Phyllis Bedford and Sharon Howell.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the First Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hbmfuneralhome.com.
