McLoud, OK - Wahalella Eagle Sigsby, 61, of McLoud, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. Wahalella was born on September 6, 1961, in Wilburton, OK, the daughter of Frank Lee and Leoda (Silmon) Eagle. She graduated from Hartshorne High School in 1979. In 2007, Wahalella earned her Bachelors Degree from Southern Nazarene University. She worked as a social worker for thirty years before her retirement in 2010. Wahalella enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crosswords and listening to gospel music.

Survivors include: her daughters, Randi Boothe and Stacy of McLoud, OK, Nikena Harrison and Keith of Maud, OK and Adriane Bellard of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Turner Eagle and wife Kathy of Tulsa and Cliff Eagle of Helena, OK; sisters, Nancy Eagle of Krebs, OK and Dee Sandra Ben of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Leoda Eagle and brothers, Renald, Frank, Dewayne and Mike.

A funeral service was held Thursday, October 6, 2022, with George Mantooth officiating. Burial followed at the Bascum Cemetery in Quinton under the direction of Hunn, Black, & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hbmfuneralhome.com.
