Steven Warren Zerbel
Steven Warren Zerbel, of Stigler, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017, in the Brooken Mountain area of Stigler, at the age of 16.
Steven and his twin sister, Hailey, were born on Oct. 5, 2000, in Norman.
Steven was a very active child. He loved spending time with his brothers and sisters. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, guns and driving. Steven enjoyed hanging out with his girlfriend, Betty, and her family as well as hanging out at the café with friends and coworkers. Steven also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Steven loved working with his hands. He had worked in the shop and on service calls with his dad since he was four years old.
He was an active member of his church and enjoyed going to youth group and picking on Pastor John.
Steven was the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He would protect anyone that needed him, and when he couldn't, he'd go down fighting. He was that kid that pushed everyone to do their best. He never let anyone give up. When someone was frowning he'd do anything to make them smile, even if he was the one hurting. Steven was so much more than what can be put on a piece of paper. He touched so many lives. Those who knew him loved him.
Steven was preceded in death by his nana, Juanita Davis; his papa, Tommy White; his uncle, David Haney, and his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.

He is also survived by Phil and April Chandler, and his parents; as well as his nine brothers and sisters, Jennifer Giamelle and husband, Chris, of Newcastle, Travis Haney and wife, Ashley, of Pauls Valley, Amanda Wilkerson and husband, Greg, of Elmore City, Tyler Haney and wife, Danielle, of Wilburton, Matthew Haney, of Tulsa, Laura Haney, of Newcastle, and Brandon, Hailey, and Bryan Zerbel, of the home.
