McAlester - Robert Francis Engle, Jr., 55, of McAlester, OK, passed away on January 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of his daughters. He was the son of the late Robert Francis Engle Sr. and Bonnie Susan (Long) Engle.

Robert proudly served his country for 24 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He dedicated his life to his country with honor, discipline, & unwavering commitment. Outside of his service, he was known as "Engle". He was always up for a good time while lavishing himself in all the finer things in life. He lived with confidence & pride, and will always be remembered for his perseverance & strength.

He is survived by his daughters Rebecca (Dustin) Luter & Morgan (Jimmy) Wilson. His brothers Frank (Heidi) Engle and Dan (Lindsey) Engle. His sister, Erika Engle. His ex-wife Lenore. He was the proud grandfather of Ej, Cashlyn, Axel, Nora, Theo, and Margo. He was the cool uncle to all his nieces & nephews. The stories he shared over the years will live on through them all.

A memorial service will be held on January 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.
