Pauline Faye Williams
Pauline Faye Williams, 84, of McAlester, died on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in Coppell, Texas.
The family will welcome friends at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 14, at Brumley-Mills Chapel starting at 10 a.m. Burial will be at North Town Cemetery.
Pauline Faye Williams was born on April 24, 1935, in McAlester. She was the second born child of Leonard and Leland Sanders and grew up in Blue.
After graduating from Haywood High School in 1953, Pauline married Bill Gene Williams on November 6, 1956. They had one daughter, Ava Diane Williams Gracon.
Pauline began working for Charles Komar & Sons in 1959, and spent more than 40 years with the company, starting on the floor and eventually working her way into a role as the lead supervisor for computer operations. While she was passionate about her career, her greatest joy came from her family and friends.
As a native to McAlester, she was fortunate to be surrounded by those who she loved most throughout the years. She was truly dedicated in all aspects of her life, and she was a blessing to everyone who had the privilege to know her. Pauline was selfless, she was sweet, she was gentle, she was brave and she was a fighter and survivor, but most of all, she loved and was loved. Pauline will be missed immensely, but we are forever grateful for the time that we shared with her.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Ava Williams Gracon; a grandson, Steven William Storrs and his wife, Nicole; two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Margaret Storrs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Freddie and Jo Sanders, and Carl and Mary Sanders; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Jim Reimer; sisters-in-law, Mary Little, Betty Cathey, Earlene Williams and Ethel Williams, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; a brother, Jimmy Dale Sanders; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Naomi and Max Ferguson, and Lorene and Kenneth Eubanks, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
