McAlester, OK - Julie Anne Rattan, 63, of McAlester, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026 at McAlester Regional Health Center.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7th at First Baptist Church in McAlester with Lance McAfee officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memory Park in McAlester. Pallbearers will be Brian Thompson, Jonathon Greene, Mark Greene, Shawn Handy, and Colton Bard.

Julie was born on July 3, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to Marcus and Ruby (McWhorter) Bryant. She married Phillip Rattan on November 9, 1991 in McAlester. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and was a member of First Baptist Church in McAlester.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip Rattan of the home; two sons, Jacob Ryan Rattan and his spouse, Cianna Rattan of McAlester, OK and Matthew Tyler Rattan and fiancé Alice Keithly of Enid, OK; two grandchildren, Rome Edward Rattan and Violet Jane Rattan; and her mother, Ruby Bryant of Rockwall, TX.; brother, Marcus Bryant of Overland Park, KS; two sisters, Teresa Greene of Plano, TX and Cheryl Thompson of Lavon, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marcus Bryant; grandparents, Leo and Willy McWhorter, and Carey and Julia Bryant.
