Julie was born on July 17, 1965, in McAlester, Oklahoma to Stanley McCasland and Sue (Roye) McCasland. She married Mike Guazdausky on August 4th, 1984.

Julie graduated from Wilburton High School with the Class of 1983. She was a 25-year employee of Kiamichi Electric Cooperative.

Julie loved her family and had a table open to anyone. She displayed her love and hospitality by providing Sunday lunches, a tradition she took over after the passing of her beloved mother-in-law, Mary.

Julie was a devoted Sugar to Maggie, Riley, Kevin and Allie. When it was time to pick her "grandma" name, she definitely wasn't going to pick any ordinary name and so Sugar was born. "Sugar's House" was the place of fun and adventures for all of her grandkids.

Julie loved her pool time and entertaining all of her friends on Saturdays during the summer. She loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. Julie was the fun JuJu. She was known to load up ALL the kids and take them to a movie or ice skating or having a slumber party in her living room.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, Sugar, daughter, sister, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her father: Stanley McCasland; her brother: Kevin McCasland; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joe and Mary Guazdausky; her grandparents: Fred and Grace Roye, and Guy and Florence McCasland; and her nephew: J.M. White.
