Jeffrey "Jeff" Don Houston, 59, of Wilburton, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at McAlester Regional Health Center.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Jones Harkins Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Jones Harkins Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Richard Matthews officiating. The burial will follow at Baldwin Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Deela, Matthew Houston, Jordan Earls, Derrick Robinson, Kenneth Morris, and Fred Ivey, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Les Robinson, Joe Coy, Steve Sloan, Frank Earls, Dennis Deela and Rick Manely.

Jeff was born on July 19, 1961 in Dallas Texas to J.D. Houston and Mary Jo (McCurry) Houston.

Jeff was a beloved Father, Grandfather and Brother. He loved spending as much time with family as possible. He never met a stranger and loved to make others laugh. Jeff was always willing to help others and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need

He was a beloved father, to his surviving children: Matthew Houston and wife, Jennifer of Hutchinson, KS, Christina Deela and husband, Brandon of Wilburton, Haley Earls and husband, Jordan of Castle Rock, CO, and Brittney Houston of Wilburton; he was a beloved "Poppy and big Papa" to his grandchildren: Jaydon Houston, Cassandra Nolind, Madison Nolind, Chrisdon Deela, James Deela, Taya Houston, Faye Earls, Christian Miller, Cassie Miller, and Curstian O'Hern; his sister: Pat Ivey of Wilburton; and special nieces and nephews: Jennifer Christopher and husband, Tim of Wilburton, JoAnn Calhoun and husband, Eric of Kinta, Chris Robison and husband, Less of Deer Part, TX, and Fred Ivey, Jr. and wife Debbie; along with other nieces, nephews and family and friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents: J.D. and Mary Jo Houston; his brother: John Houston; and his brother-in-law: Fred Ivey, Sr.
