James Lloyd "Jimmy" McFarland, 62 of Bugtussle, died peacefully at home on March 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at his daughter's home in Bugtussle at 12:00 pm. (Noon) on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.

Jimmy was born to Walter and Judy (Brown) McFarland on July 22, 1962, in Hamilton, Ohio. He grew up in Ohio and moved to Oklahoma at the age of 16. Jimmy worked as a plumber for Lalli's Plumbing for 15 years and then obtained a plumber's contracting license and would often work away from home, returning on the weekends. He also worked for McAlester Schools as a plumbing contractor for several years.

Jimmy had a passion for fishing. His love of fishing will live long through his family, especially his grandchildren.

Jimmy was a man of faith, he was baptized in the Church of Christ and attended Church when able.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Raisheal Snell and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Emma Bacorn and husband, Daniel, Paden Snell, Breezy Snell; great grandchildren, J.J. Bacorn, Wesley Snell, Raylan Snell all of Bugtussle; brother-in-law, David Killebrew of McAlester; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins' other family members and friends.

Jimmy will be missed but not forgotten
