Helena Josephine MacLachlan, a beacon of kindness and wisdom, peacefully transitioned from this life to the next on September 21, 2023, in Ormond Beach, FL. Born on July 6, 1935, in Wilburton, OK.

Helena's story began in the small town of Wilburton, OK, where she was born into a loving family. Her life was a journey of dedication and service, beginning with her role as a secretary at Air Asia in Van Nuys, CA. Her commitment to making a difference led her to serve as the Secretary for the Chief of Police in McAlester, OK, for 20 years. Upon retiring, she continued her journey in Austin, where she joined the Department of Treasury.

Helena was a faithful member of the New Covenant Fellowship in Oklahoma. Her love for quilting and crafting was unmatched, which led her to initiate the Southeastern Oklahoma Arts and Crafts show. Her quilts were not just pieces of fabric sewn together, but stories stitched with love and warmth.

She leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of her daughter, Allison (John) Patterson, grandchildren Laura, Michael, Christine (Trey), Cristopher (Dylan), and Seth, and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Bonnie, Toni (Bob), and Gail. Helena's nieces Robin, Pam, and Angela, along with many loving in-laws, great nieces and great nephews, and long-time friends, will forever remember her warmth and kindness.

As Helena embarks on her heavenly journey, she reunites with her son, Jason, her parents, Sam and Minnie, and her sisters, Mary, Janice, Kathleen, and Charlotte.

Helena Josephine MacLachlan's life was a beautiful symphony of faith, love, and service.
