Eufaula, Oklahoma - Ermon Lee Russell, Sr., 82, of Eufaula, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at his home. Ermon was born on June 3, 1939 in Quinton, Oklahoma to Andrew Jack and Alma (Work) Russell. He attended school in Muskogee and Quinton. Ermon served in the United States Air Force for twenty-one years, before retiring in 1977. On October 18, 1969, he married Patricia Ann Jones. They were happily married for fifty-two years and raised four children together. While serving, he worked in fire and rescue and as a helicopter pilot. After retirement, Ermon owned and operated Russell's Trash Service for seventeen years and then worked for Pittsburg County for ten years.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Russell, of the home; sons: Ermon Lee Russell, Jr. and wife Lisa; and Billy Jack Russell; daughters: Joyce Marie Graham and husband Mark; and Natalie Ann and husband Todd Huckabee; brothers: Ollie Francis Russell and Fred Albert Russell and wife Shirley; ten grandchildren: Tristen Russell, Destiney & LJ Jenkins, Brilee Whitaker and husband Nathan, Jacob Graham, Joshua Graham and wife Roxanne, Jordan Graham, Coty Russell, Rowdy Russell and wife Charidy, Coleton Russell, and Madeline and husband Quinten Price; six great grandchildren: Hazel Grace Jenkins aka Angel Baby, Easton Graham, Reese Russell, Tinley Russell, Creeden Russell, and Serenity Price. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Alma Russell; brother Billy Jack Russell, and two sisters in-law: Vivian Russell and Janet Russell.

A memorial service will be at 10:00a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022at the Kelley Memorial Chapel with Heath Eldridge officiating. Pallbearers will be Don McIntire, Russell McIntire, Mark Graham, Mark Russell, Brian Russell, LJ Jenkins, Danny Russell, James Russell, Shannon Prater, Todd Huckabee, Travis Russell, Kelly Russell, Daniel Gravitt, and Brian Limbaugh. Burial will follow at the Enterprise Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
