Denver Lee Edwards
Denver Lee Edwards, 75, of Hobart, passed away with his family by his side on February 8, 2020, in Oklahoma City.
Denver was born on November 23, 1944, to Laver and Opal (Boardman) Edwards, in McAlester.
Denver grew up and attended school in McAlester. After high school he enlisted into the United States Army, he was in Company C 5th Battalion, 2D regiment and was in the graduating class of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, on December 13, 1962.
Denver moved back to Hobart during the 1970s and worked for the City of Hobart as a water line worker and retired in 2006.
Denver enjoyed being with his friends, but most of all he loved to be with his family, fishing and BBQing.
Denver will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Denver is survived by his wife, Patricia Edwards, of Hobart; son, Dallas Edwards and Marsha Snow, of Hobart; sisters, Brosha Gattenby, of McAlester, Dee Morgan and husband, Bob, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Denver was preceded in death by his parents, Lavern and Opal Edwards.
