Wilma Jo Palmer, longtime resident of Eufaula, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017.
Memorial services will be celebrated at First Church of God in Eufaula at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1932, in Eufaula, to Goldman and Delia Cope. Wilma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Wilma was a devoted Christian and loved her family and enjoyed gardening, quilting, cross stitch, fishing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Goldman and Delia Cope; brothers, Lloyd Cope and Samuel Cope; sisters, Nan Berry and Owalla Johnson; daughter, Linda Jo Miller, and son, Jerry Eugene Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Palmer; two siblings, Eugene Cope and wife, Martha, of Lompoc, California, and Lela Jacinto, of Lincoln, California, and children, Sandra Kerr and husband, Dexter, of Lincoln Arkansas, Ramona Joyce Miller, of McAlester, and Teresa Cooper and husband, Bob Cooper, of Kinston, North Carolina, and step-children, Steve Palmer, of Henryetta, Michael Palmer, of Henryetta, and Sheri Freeman and husband, Smokey, of Henryetta. She has 10 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She has many beloved nieces and nephews.
