Teresa Ann Eldridge Kennedy, 53, of McAlester died Sunday, May 28, 2017, at McAlester Regional Hospital. Funeral Services will be on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Canadian Shores Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Indianola Cemetery. Ministers will be Rev. Steve Eldridge and Rev. Brent Jarrett. Pallbearers will be Nick Eldridge; Matthew Eldridge; Billy Robinson ; Montie Wadkins; Jordan Lane and Keenan Hearst. The family will greet friends on Wednesday at Bishop Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Teresa Ann Kennedy was born on Dec. 4, 1963, in McAlester, Oklahoma to Burl and Loretta Arleen Cordell Eldridge. She attended schools and graduated from McAlester High School. Teresa was a CNA Dialysis Tech at McAlester Regional Health Center and later was a Habitational Training Specialist with KiBois. She was of the Southern Baptist faith and a member of The First Baptist Church of McAlester. Her hobbies included writing poetry, crafts of all kinds, she loved roses and spending time with her grandchildren. Teresa was married to Robert Kennedy on December 12, 2014, in McAlester, Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband, Robert Kennedy of the home. Two daughters and a son-in-law, Deziray and Keenan Hearst of McAlester and Amber Collier of McAlester. Mother and father, Burl (J.R.) and Loretta Arleen Eldridge of Tannehill; a brother and sister-in-law, B. Keith and Stephenie Eldridge of McAlester and five grandchildren, Quianna Hearst, K'Mya Hearst, Trenity Hearst, K.J. Hearst and Jaylen Nelson. She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and uncles and aunts. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations for funeral expenses be made to the family.
