Steven Wayne Hailey, 55, of Tulsa, died on Wednesday, June 14 2017, in Tulsa.
The family will greet family and friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Bishop Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bishop Chapel of Memories, officiated by the Rev. Chip Lott. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester.
Pallbearers will be Rex Holman, Kevin Kirkpatrick, Rich Pettit, Michael Pierce, Timmy Don Adams and Mark Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Hailey, Larry Hailey and Kasey Quinn.
Steven was born on Jan. 9, 1962, in McAlester, to Edward J. Sr. and Beatrice (Turnbow) Hailey. He attended schools in McAlester and graduated from McAlester High School. Steven attended Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton.
Steven married Cindy Pope on July 10, 1981, in McAlester. He owned and operated Precision Machine and Manufacturing in California for 15 years. He and his wife returned to Tulsa in 2002.
They both traveled widely in their jobs but settled in Tulsa in 2016. Steven enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going to the lake to jet ski and enjoyed deep sea fishing. He was known to all his friends as "Crazy Hailey".
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Hailey, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kate Hailey, of Alabama, and three grandchildren, Peyton Hailey, Taylor Hailey and Aston Hailey, all of Alabama. His mother, Beatrice Hailey-Harbison, of McAlester; two sisters, Madline Chandler, of Houston, Texas, and Julie Hailey-Rowell, of Sunderland, England; one brother and sister-in-law, Edward J. Jr. and Debra Hailey, of Apollo Beach, Florida, and two nieces, Cherish Loog, of Pearland, Texas, and Esther Hailey, of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Hailey Sr.
