Perry "P.A."'s Story
Perry "P.A." Littlejohn Sr., 79, of McAlester, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at McAlester Regional Health Center.
Family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester..
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 10, at Brumley-Mills Chapel in McAlester with the Rev. Bob Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow at Savanna Cemetery.
P.A. was born on Feb. 8, 1938, in Redden, to Thomas E. and Bessie (Snow) Littlejohn. He married Donna Graham on April 24, 1990, in McAlester.
He retired from the Oklahoma State Penitentiary as a captain, after 25 years of service. He later worked for Meeco for 10 years.
He also enjoyed visiting with his friends at Sanford and Sisters. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching ballgames.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Savanna.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Littlejohn, of McAlester; children and spouses, Allen and Melody Littlejohn, of Wilburton, John Littlejohn, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tammy and Bill Soden, of Horatio, Arkansas, Tonya and Dewayne Chandler, of Boswell, Kevin Littlejohn, of Durant, Sharon Hugle, of Kansas, Bill Nowell, of Savanna, and Julie and Gary Windsor, of Fort Worth, Texas; 19 grandchildren and spouses; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Irene Littlejohn, of Yukon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Susan Littlejohn, and eight brothers and sisters.
