Mildred L. Pedigo, 98, of Hartshorne, died Saturday, May 6, 2017.
The family will greet friends at Bishop Funeral Home on Wednesday evening between 6 and 8 p.m.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bishop Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Loman Parent and the Rev. Bob Deschazer officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnnie Pedigo, Charles Pedigo, Don Pedigo, Kenny Pedigo, James Pedigo and Teddy Pedigo.
Mildred was born on Feb. 16, 1919, in Union Chapel, to John Henry and Jennie Viola Jackson Mitchell. She attended schools in Union Chapel. Her family lived in the Union Chapel area, Sardis and in southeastern Oklahoma.
Mildred, for several years, attended church at the Faith Tabernacle Church.
She enjoyed flowers that she planted.
Survivors included four sons, Bobbie Wayne and Mary Pedigo, of Bache, Donald Eugene, of Jones, Charles Augustes and Elaine Pedigo, of Fall Brooks, California, and Johnnie Lee Pedigo, of Hartshorne. A daughter-in-law, Marilyn Pedigo, of McAlester; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 18
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Pedigo, on Nov. 25, 1994; a son, Troy Leroy Pedigo, and three brothers and one sister.
