Mary Lou Belcher, 86, of Krum, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, surrounded by family.
She was born on June 23, 1930, in Savanna, to John and Sarah Teeters Koprovic. She was married to the late Gene Belcher Sr.
She was a very beautiful and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a heart of gold. She will truly be missed by her family.
Mary Lou is survived by two daughters, Brenda Davidson and husband, Dennis, of Ponder, Texas, and Trena Underwood and husband, Tim, of Quinlan, Texas; one son, Gene Belcher and wife, Dena, of Decatur, Texas; five grandchildren, Christopher Davidson, Kelley Davidson, Shalynn Belcher, Kristen Owen, and Tanna Underwood, and three great-grandchildren, Mackensey Davidson, Raynie Davidson and Rylie Davidson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah Koprovic; sister, Betty Jean Eakin, and two brothers, John Koprovic and Frank Koprovic.
Visitation will be today, March 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at Savanna Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBerry Funeral Directors of Denton, Texas.
