Eloise (Clifton) Kelley, 91, of McAlester, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at her residence.
The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by the Rev. David Cantrell. Burial will follow at Tannehill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Perry, John Perry, Ken Kerns, Robert Kerns, Andy Kerns and Steve Lawson.
Eloise was born to Bradley M. and Viola (Beard) Clifton on Aug. 3, 1926, in McAlester. She attended Indianola School and married Robert Kelley on Dec. 5, 1945, in California.
Eloise was a homemaker and lived at Scipio for many years.
She was a member of Scipio Baptist Church.
She enjoyed fishing, and playing computer games and was a great cook.
Eloise is survived by daughters, Sharon Perry and husband, William, of Scipio, Donna Kindred, of McAlester, Connie Webb and husband, Patrick, of Jones Creek, Texas, and Janet Dawes and husband, Donnie, of Sweeny, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Tommye Lou Hendershot, of McAlester; sisters-in-law, Barbara Clifton, Betty Brooks and Delores Kelley; brother-in-law, Bob McDaniel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Kelley, in 2003; grandson, Christopher Webb; brothers, Aldon Clifton and Buddy Clifton, and son-in-law, Arvile Kindred.
Arrangements entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.
