Esther Lynn Koprovic, 73, formerly of McAlester, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
Lynn was born on Aug. 30, 1943, in McAlester, to Fred and Amy (Brantley) Cook. She married Franklin Koprovic on Aug. 15, 1960, and enjoyed 42 years of marriage until his death in 2002.
Lynn worked as a cook in the McAlester public school cafeteria until her retirement.
Following retirement, Lynn spent her time loving and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Jamie Koprovic and wife, Laura, of McAlester; daughter, Cheryl Koprovic, of Sulphur; grandchildren, Jeremiah Koprovic, Garrett Koprovic, Jake Cookson, and Destiny Baker and husband, B.J.; great-grandchildren, Kamree, Braylee, Natalie, Nikki and Kaylyn, and three sisters, June Stone and husband, Joe, of McAlester, Cathy Jackson, and Linda Bye.
Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Koprovic; daughter, Keena Cookson, and parents, Fred and Amy Cook.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Savanna Cemetery. Interment will follow.
