Donella Nicole Zukosky, 26, of Haileyville, will be honored with a Life Celebration on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at 2 p.m. with a graveside service at Mountain Station Cemetery with Pastor Don Riley officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
The family will receive friends at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Donella Nicole Zukosky was born on Jan. 2, 1990, in McAlester, to Donald Joe "Bo" and Lesley Lynn Story Zukosky. She grew up in the Higgins area and moved to Haileyville in 2000, where she graduated high school in 2008.
Donella loved to hunt and fish, activities that were instilled in her as a young girl when she would go hunting, fishing and trapping with her father, Bo. She loved all animals, at times, as a girl, making her dad release an animal that had been trapped.
Donella worked for a while at Mordecai's Laundromat in Hartshorne.
Survivors include her husband, Blake Jordan, of Keota, and her children, Brently Blaike Jordan and Adelyn Nicole Jordan, both of Keota. Her father, Bo Zukosky, of Haileyville, and her mother, Lesley Morales, of Tulsa. Also, her mother-in-law, Robin Rea, of Keota. A brother, Forest Cody Story, of Poteau, and a grandmother, Betty Story. Also, aunts and uncles, Monica Story, Mandy Story, Mike Foster, Jessica Allen, Donita Thompson and Kristina Thompson, and Brian James and Iva James, as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
