Wanda  Scott


Wanda Scott, 90, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, formerly of McAlester, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, in Jonesboro.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Pavilion with J.P. Hackler officiating.
Wanda was born on December 11, 1928, in Waldron, Arkansas, to Luther and Lois (Johnson) Langley. She was married to J.B. Darnell and had a daughter, Debbie.
She later married Robert A. "Scotty" Scott. She worked with her husband, Scotty, at Woods Drug for many years.
She enjoyed shopping and decorating her home.
She was a member of First Christian Church in McAlester.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Pilgrim; step-son and spouse, David and Karie Scott; grandson and spouse, Dr. Shane Hunt and wife, Jenifer; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Hunt, and Andrew Carson Hunt; five step-grandchildren, Rebekah, Andrew, Sarah, Beth and Jonathan; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Sharon Langley; father of her daughter, J.B. Darnell; a special thanks to the "D" Team Caregivers, Donna, Doris and Diane.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lois Langley, and husband, Robert A. "Scotty" Scott.
