Wanda's Story

Wanda Fay Riddle, 88, of McAlester, died Wednesday evening, January 24, 2018, at a local nursing home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at Arpelar Nazarene Church with the Rev. Bart Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Arpelar Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Cody Mauldin, Lloyd Fields, Jimmy Luker, Stacey Null, Jeremy Null and Roger Morris.
Honorary pallbearers will be Farrell Cunningham, Eric West and Oben Weeks.
Wanda was born on January 5, 1930, in Cabiness, to George and Lillian Bell Castleberry. She went to school in Haywood.
Wanda married Truman Riddle and they were married for 55 years. She then married S.T. Morris.
She was a member of Arpelar Nazarene Church and lately attended North Town Church of Christ on Wednesday evening.
She loved to travel and really loved to shop and, of course, kept up with the Oklahoma Sooners.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Cunningham and spouse, Farrell, of Ashland, and Mary Ann Fields, of McAlester; two grandsons, Kelly Cunningham, of Ashland, and Cody Mauldin, of McAlester; five granddaughters, Tanya Shores and Mike, of Ashland, Crissey Riddle, of Stuart, Brandi and Tony Rusk, of Mustang, Tabitha Wheat and Richard, of Stuart, and Kylie Bentley and James, of Eufaula; a sister, Earlene Upchurch, of McAlester; former daughter-in-law, Shelia Barkley, of Stuart; former son-in-law, Lloyd Fields, of Arpelar, and numerous great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Truman Riddle; her second husband, S.T. Morris; a son, Butch Riddle; a daughter, Jan Key; a sister, Helen Null, and a brother, Ray Castleberry.
