Virginia Lee Stout


Virginia Lee Stout, 94, of McAlester, died Monday, April 29, 2019, in McAlester.
Family night will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Atoka Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, at McGee Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Tallman and the Rev. Bob Muncy officiating. Burial will be at Mount Home Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Atoka Funeral Home.
Born April 20, 1925, in Daisy, she was the daughter of Charley and Anganora (Billy) Isom. She married Robert E. Stout Jr. on April 27, 1944, in Reno, Nevada, and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1990.
She was a beautician and owned her own business. She was a member of the Choctaw Nation.
Survivors include one son, Ronald C. Stout Sr. and wife, Regina, of McAlester; 10 grandchildren, Sarah Ingram, of Daisy, Ron Jr. and wife, LeAnn Stout, of Daisy, Steve and wife, Cheyenne Stout, of Corpus Christie, Texas, Robert Stout, of McAlester, Barbara Garcia, of Pilot Point, Texas, Amy Smith, of Yakima, Washington, Jessica Raney, of Tyler, Texas, Megan Bacon, of Daisy, Amanda Cabo, of Ada, and Bryan Stout, of California; two daughters-in-law, Charlene Stout and Janice Twist; one sister, Alice Hutson; one brother, CH "Copas" Isom, and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Anganora (Billy) Isom; husband, Robert Elmer "John" Stout; two sons, James Robert "Jim" Stout and Dennis Gerald Stout; one grandson, Robert Edward Stout; five brothers, Frank Page, Bob Page, Dugan Isom, Joe Isom and Jay Isom, and two sisters, Opal Burleson and Audrey Burleson.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Addington, Adam Burleson, Jody Kindred, Bruce Bacon, Robby Isom and Glenn Wyrick.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Burleson, Don Isom, Rick Isom, Eddie Isom, Roger Nobles, Johnny Burleson, Gary Isom, Tom Isom, Bobby McSpadden and Rick Ludlow.
