Verna G. Kramer, of McAlester, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at McAlester Regional Health Care Center at the age of 90.
Verna was born on Oct. 20, 1926, in Anadarko. She married Ace Kramer in 1969. She worked outside the home at St. Joseph's Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, for 15 years as a physical therapist assistant and then as a homemaker for many, many years.
Verna is survived by her son, Mike Rasnic and wife, Thi Xari, of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Michelle Rasnic and Aaron, of Seattle, Washington, Jonathan Rasnic, of Seattle, Washington, Jason Rasnic, of Iowa, Kindra Damm and Allen, of Derby, Kansas, and Kelly Rasnic, of Denver, Colorado; great-grandson, Aiden, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ace Kramer, in 2012; son, David Earl Rasnic, and siblings, Vernon, Hewitt, Betty and Berniece.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Chaney's Memorial Chapel in McAlester.
