Randy Ray Wilson, 65, of Savanna, died on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Frink Baptist Church with Rev. Monte Thompson, assisted by Don Capps. Burial will follow at Savanna Cemetery.
Randy was born May 7, 1952, in Bristow, Oklahoma to Elmer Ray Wilson & Edith Mae (Dobbs) Chitwood. He owned and operated Wilson Construction in McAlester for over 30 years. Randy enjoyed raising pigeons, but loved the other breeders in which he considered extended family. He was a member of several pigeon organizations and held the greatest award as a Master Breeder. He also enjoyed bass fishing and hunting. His family was his greatest joy, was loved by so many.
He is survived by his wife, Gina of the home; children, Ryan Sanders and wife, Amber, of Houston, Texas, Rebecca Stonecipher and husband, Zac, of Sulphur, Amy Thornburg and husband, Brandon, of Lindsey; grandchildren, Jesyca McClaughrey and husband, Ryan and their children, Amberley, Camden, Staley and Nolen. Also by grandchildren, Chris, Alyssa, Raylee, Presley, Harper, Baylor, Layla and John Stonecipher, Cannon Jacobs and Xavier Sanders. Also survived by his mother, Edith Chitwood of Savanna, brothers and sisters, Phil Hodgeson and wife, Patty, Sue Bigelow, Bill Gates and wife, Doris, also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jessie Wilson, father, Elmer Wilson, sister, Carolyn Wright, step father, Kenneth Chitwood and step mother, Pauline Wilson. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Bigelow, Keith Bigelow, Tyler Bigelow, Rex Holeman, Bill Gates and Steven Gates.
