Pearl Marie Hall, 92, of rural McAlester, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at her home in Shady Grove.
The family will receive friends at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Parr as officiant. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Pearl Hall was born on July 6, 1925, in Ulan, where she attended school.
On Sept. 9, 1942, she married John. W. Hall in McAlester. She had been a lifelong resident of Pittsburg County and a 60 year resident of Shady Grove.
She was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, cooking and raising her six children.
She is survived by three daughters and three sons-in-laws, Sharon (Hall) Fine and husband, John, of Wallowa, Oregon, Joan (Hall) Cotton and husband, John, of McAlester, and Sherri Cathey and husband, Bill, of Indianola. Two sons and one daughter-in-law, John D. Hall, of McAlester, and Kenneth Hall and wife, Carol, of McAlester. One sister, Dorothy Foote and husband, William, of Boise City, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Two special friends, Mary Lee Logan and Janie Mae Watson
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Hall, and a daughter, Joyce Timmerman.
Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Hall, Wesley Hall, Warren Hall, Eugene Hall, Charles Godwin and Jason Godwin.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Cotton, John Fine, Terry Blasengame, Justin Klink, Wendal Rice, Clayton Brown and Marlin Brown.
