Pauline Holman, 86, of McAlester, died Saturday, January 20, 2018, at New Hope Retirement and Care Center.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 26, at Northtown Church of Christ with Steve Weeks and Oben Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester.
Pauline was born on December 6, 1931, in Sherman, Texas, to Clarence and Effie (Perkins) Willard. She married Alvin "Hoot" Holman on December 23, 1950, in McAlester. She was secretary for Farmers Union.
She was an avid bowler and was secretary for the McAlester ladies' bowling league. She enjoyed cake decorating and never missed a ballgame or calf show. She loved going to bluegrass festivals.
She was a loyal member of the Northtown Church of Christ.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Alvin "Hoot" Holman; her children and spouses, Rita and Buddy Garvin, and Kenny and Lynne Holman; grandchildren and spouses, Shala and Mark Harper, Brandon and Jennifer Garvin, Nick and Kimberly Holman, Jared and Kensey Holman and Stacey Garvin; great-grandchildren are Keyton Jameson, Olivia Holman, Lincoln Holman, McKenzie Harper, and Josh Harper and wife, Brittnie; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Linda Willard, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. She was known as grandma to many little ones.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kim Randall Holman; parents, Clarence and Effie Willard; sister, Jesse Lee Zachary, and brothers, Cletus Willard and Houston Willard.
Active pallbearers will be Brandon Garvin, Keyton Jameson, Nick Homan, Jared Holman, Mark Harper, Eddie Surginer and Josh Harper.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Coop, Rob Carey, Garner Boyd, Marty Zachary, Marvin Lawson, Johnny Jones and the men of Northtown Church of Christ.
