Paul J. Slotta, 76, of Hartshorne, died Sunday, April 9, 2017, at his home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Elmwood Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Richard Dixon officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne.
Paul was born on Dec. 10, 1940, in Madison, Illinois, to John and Lucille (White) Slotta. He married Norma Sue Ryan on Dec. 31, 1959, in McAlester.
After she preceded him in death, he later married Kathy Hollis Wheatly on Oct. 29, 2016, in Adamson.
He retired from Boeing and enjoyed golfing, hunting and was a member of the Wilburton Country Club.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Russell, of Hartshorne; one son, Mike Slotta, of the home; spouse, Kathy Hollis Wheatly, of Hartshorne; step-son, Cole Wheatly, of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Brett Russell, Summer Cantrell, Chris Slotta, Brad Slotta, Tori Burke and Justin Slotta; great-grandchildren, Kandin, Clifford Jr. and Ransom Cantrell, Laynee, Brelee and Maverick Slotta, Raelyn and Alyvia Burke, and Ryder Slotta, and one sister, Theresa Slotta Harrison, of Marietta, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his longtime wife, Sue (Ryan) Slotta; parents, John and Lucille Slotta, and granddaughter, Kandi Russell.
