Morgan Denise Jordan-Pemberton, 34, of Krebs, gained her Angel wings on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, in McAlester.
The family will greet friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Chaney's Memorial Chapel with Pastors Jack and Kay Crawford officiating.
Morgan Denise was born on Nov. 29, 1982, in Modesto, California, to Mark Robert Pemberton and Lisa Lyn (Johnson) Pemberton. She attended Grace M. Davis High School and graduated in 2001 from Robert T. Elliot High in Modesto, California.
In 2005, she moved to Atoka and attended Kiamichi Technology Center, earning a certificate in business information and technology in 2008.
She married Brandon Jordan on June 6, 2011, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was a loving mother to her four children and also worked for a number of years at Subway. Morgan was very creative and had an adventurous side. She loved life and was a joy to be around.
She is survived by her husband, Brandon Jordan-Pemberton, of the home; children, Serenitee Pemberton, Elias Pemberton, Anthony Jordan and Aiden Jordan, all of the home; her mother, Lisa Mills and husband, Jasper, of Krebs; sister, Sarah Johnson, of Krebs, and nephews, Alexander Pemberton-Ames, of Lane, and Aiden Ames and Malachy Ames, both of Krebs. She is also survived by her grandparents, Edna Bettencourt, of Modesto, California, and Larry and Joan Johnson, of Walnut Creek, California, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Robert Pemberton.
