Michael Williamson Billy, 62, of Blanco, died Monday, June 12, 2017, at his home.
The family will greet friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Chaney's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery near the Blue Community.
Michael Williamson Billy was born on March 14, 1955, in Talihina, to Schlicht B. and Edith M. (Wesley) Billy. He graduated from McAlester High School in the Class of 1973. He later earned his bachelors of science degree from Central State in Edmond.
Michael was a salesman for most of his life, selling solar energy components, mobile homes and insurance products. He served a number of cities, including Oklahoma City, Eufaula and McAlester. He was also currently the Pastor of Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Michael enjoyed playing the piano and was an avid sports fan, with is favorites being the Oklahoma University Sooners and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He is survived by his mother, Edith Billy, of McAlester; brother, Greg Billy and wife, Mary, of McAlester; niece, Crystal Wilson and husband, Billy D., and their children, Kaytlynn and Christian Dunlap, of McAlester; an aunt, Ruby Maynor, of McLoud, and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Schlicht Billy, and an infant brother, Edward A. Billy.
