Margie Lee Oneth, 88, of McAlester, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, in McAlester.
The family will receive friends at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home today from 6 to 7 p.m.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Ash Creek Cemetery. Burial will follow.
Margie Oneth was born on Dec. 20, 1928, in Pittsburg, to Otis Lee "Hobie" and Dovie Mae (Byrd) Quick. She grew up there and graduated from Pittsburg High School.
She married J.D. Oneth and they made their home in McAlester for the remaining years.
Margie worked as a nurse at the United States Naval Ammunition Depot (AAP) for a number of years, then worked for the Choctaw Nation as a receptionist for several years.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Oneth Ferden, of McAlester; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Royce Quick, of Oklahoma City, and Bill Quick, of Pittsburg; sisters, Rita Quick Nelson, of California, Sally Quick Cason, of Pittsburg, Linda Quick Nelson, of Tishomingo, and Carol Quick Depue, of Pittsburg, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.D. Oneth, and and a son, Jason "Butch" Oneth.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Kirk, Jacob Kirk, Aaron Depue, Wesley Depue, Jeff Cason, Adam McKimmy, Eugene Kirk and Wes Oneth.
