Margie Epps, 85, of Haileyville, died Thursday, August 17, 2017, at her home.
Family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Haileyville with the Rev. Terry Sensibaugh officiating.
Margie Epps was born on May 24, 1932, in Blair, Nebraska, to Thomas Jefferson and Lula (Axtell) Osborne.
She married Bob Epps on June 9, 1951, in Van Buren, Arkansas. She obtained her nurse training at St. Mary's Hospital in McAlester and retired as a longtime nurse.
She enjoyed fishing and was a member of First Baptist Church in Haileyville.
Margie is survived by her husband, Bob Epps, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Becky Epps, of Haileyville, and Bruce and Lisa Epps, of Grandbury, Texas; four grandchildren and spouses; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and two sisters, Trudy Munn. of Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and Peggy Bibb, of North Richland Hills, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jefferson Osborne and Lula Osborne; two brothers, LeRoy and Tommy Osborne, and one sister, Betty Bauer.
Active pallbearers will be Brandon Epps, Hunter Epps, Bobby Epps, Alex Dickey, Terry Rich, Jason Cooper, Jimmy McNeelis and Talor Suenram.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Rich and Wayne Thurman.
