Margaret A. Walser, 81, of McAlester, died Thursday, March 23, 2017, at St. Francis Medical Center in Tulsa.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at Brumley-Mills Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Hernandez Jr. officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
Margaret was born on April 5, 1935, in McAlester, to Julian and Sally R. (Hernandez) Contreras. She was a lifelong resident of McAlester.
Survivors include, children, Jim Contreras, Cynthia and David Wright, Linda Baker, Jay and Teodora Hodges, Jimmy Hodges, Sonya Hodges, and Katie Alonzo; grandchildren, Ashley Dowling, Jeremy Ford, Chase Ford, Lacye Baker, Skylar Baker, Brandon Baker, Hailey Hodges, Allyson Hodges and Dustin Corum; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Contreras and Terry Seaton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Julian Contreras; mother, Sally R. Albright; step-father, Roland Albright, and one brother, Jackie Ward.
