Lawrence Dale Gibson passed away at his home in Hawkins, Texas on Sunday, May 14, 2017, of heart failure. He was 72.
Dale was the son of the late Ruby Rogers Gibson and Lawrence W. "Tate" Gibson of McAlester. He was born in 1945 and attended McAlester schools, graduating in 1963. He attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and was a medic in the Army stationed in Germany. He worked in various capacities in the oil and gas industry throughout his career. He loved motorcycles, photography, hunting and fishing.
His parents and a son Geoff Gibson precede him in death.
He is survived by his sister Carol Burnett of Ft. Gibson, ex wife Connie Gibson, Tyler, Texas, Children Steffani Lincecum of Cross Plains, Wisconsin, Eric Gibson, Tyler, Texas, Lori Wolf, Dallas, Texas, Grandchildren Connor Gibson, Carrolton, Texas, Zoe and Tess Lincecum, Cross Plains, Wisconsin, Gwendolyn Gibson, Tyler, Texas, and Scarlett and Luna Wolf, Dallas, Texas.
He was remembered in a private memorial on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the home of Lori and Tyler Wolf in Dallas.
