Johnnie Linda Gaultney, 75, of McAlester, died Wednesday evening, April 19, 2017.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in McAlester. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Burnside will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Traci Walling, Chuck Sutterfield, Jeremy Lott, Jon Madden, Nick Arnold, Shane Mills and Mickey Mathis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Asti McFarland and Ed Long.
Johnnie was born on Oct. 18, 1941, in Krebs to Ray Vernon and Josephine Foross Rock. She attended school in McAlester.
Johnnie was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed bingo and cooking.
Johnnie married Bill Gaultney on Sept. 7, 2005, in McAlester.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Gaultney, of the home; three daughters, Giovanna Hasty, of McAlester, Mary Mathis and husband, Mickey Mathis, of McAlester, and Staci Walling, of Ada; granddaughters, Nikki Walling, of McAlester, Jaime Ethridge and husband, Patrick, and Crystal Rock, of McAlester; grandsons, Logan Hasty, of McAlester, Traci Walling, of McAlester, Jeremy Lott and wife, Rachelle Lott, of McAlester, and Chuck Sutterfield and wife, Tiffani Sutterfield, of McAlester, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Vernon Rock and Josephine Rock, and a son, Roy Allen Rock.
In lieu of flowers, Johnnie had wished that donations be made to the First Assembly of God Church for missions.
She will be remembered for her gentle soul, vibrant personality, her unfailing faith in the Lord and for being the world's best at cooking meatloaf!!!
