John Dale Crandell, 36, of McAlester, died Friday, June 30, 2017, at McAlester Regional Health Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, at Brumley-Mills Chapel in McAlester. Burial will be at Hugh Low Cemetery in Scipio. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
John was born on April 29, 1981, in McAlester, to Dale and Roylene (Trollinger) Crandell. He loved to be with his family and friends and loved music and working on cars.
John is survived by his wife, Aquilla Crandell; son, Ethan Crandell, of Texas; step-children, Ty Davis, A.J. Davis, Harley Davis and Nashoba Davis, all of McAlester; father, Dale E. Crandell, of McAlester; sister, Roylene "Maggie" Crandell, of McAlester, and a brother, Brent Crandell, of Krebs.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Roylene Gail Crandell; grandparents, Everett O. and Mary Crandell, and Maggie and John Trollinger; three uncles and one aunt.
Active pallbearers will be Terry Powell, Ty Davis, A.J. Davis, Harley Davis, Nashoba Davis, John A. Morgan Jr., Renden Wade and Shaun Billy.
Honorary pallbearer will be Horace Spencer.
