Jennievie was born on March 6, 1933, to E.V. (Gene) and Grace (Edwards) Stone in Wister. She attended McAlester High School with the Class of 1951 and was Valedictorian.
She worked for McAlester Fuel Company as a bookkeeper for many years and then at Pepsi Bottling Company as a bookkeeper until retirement.
She was an active member at Calvary Baptist Church and attended almost every service until her health failed her. She was a dedicated Christian and knew her Bible extremely well. Jennievie would argue with anyone regarding her belief in the Bible and stood strong in her Baptist Faith.
She loved reading her Bible, working in her yard and, most of all, attending church.

Jennievie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Farris Wayne Jones; sisters, Reba Sue Miller, and Pat Tolson and husband, Troyce; sister-in-law, Dottie Stone; brother-in-law, Bob Jones, all of McAlester; her step-daughter, Terry Johnston, of Tulsa; grandchildren, Brandon Chambers, Candace Bautista, Alax Bratten and Zachary Bratten, and three great-grandchildren, all of Tacoma, Washington, and several nieces, nephews, other family members and numerous friends.
