Jeanine (Shepard) Sartor Jeanine (Shepard) Sartor, of Ashland, died on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in Coalgate, at the age of 83.
The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 9, at Bishop Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by the Rev. Haskell Melton. Burial will follow at Kiowa Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Hatridge, Roy Hatridge, Rex Hatridge, David Verner, Gerald Goddard, David Timmons and Richard Quaid.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Harper's Valley Church.
Jeanine was born December 22, 1934, in Daisy, to Elmo C. and Mattie M. (Smith) Shepard. She graduated from Kiowa High School in 1953.
Jeanine married Robert William "R.W." Sartor on May 29, 1954, in Kiowa.
She worked as an ordnance worker at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, retiring May 3, 2000, after 21 years.
She was a member of Harper's Valley Baptist Church and a member of Kiowa Order of the Eastern Star.
Jeanine enjoyed sewing, quilting, canning, cooking and taking care of her grandchildren.
Jeanine is survived by her husband, R.W. Sartor, of the home; son, Rick Sartor and Mary Wilson, of the home; daughters, Lawanda Hicks, of Tushka, and Devonda Sartor and Georgette King, of Anna, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Allene Cantrell and husband, Dean, of Augusta, Kansas; brother, John Shepard and wife, Carolyn, of Denver, Colorado, and numerous other family member and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Clyde Shepard.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.
