Ethel Oletha Gray, 89, of McAlester, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at a local nursing center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at Tannehill Cemetery Pavilion with her son, the Rev. Roger Gray officiating.
Oletha was born on April 27, 1928, in McAlester, to Charlie and Dicy Arizona (McConnell) Justice. She married Jack Gray on Nov. 6, 1943, in McAlester, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church, where she was active in the church activities. Oletha enjoyed playing the guitar and singing gospel songs.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Vieux and husband, Darrell, of McAlester; a son, Roger Gray and wife, Sandy, of Grapevine, Texas; a sister, Annie Martin, of Porterville, California; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
Oletha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Gray; daughter, Jacqueline Sue "Jackie" Gray; grandson, Joel Gray, and numerous brothers and sisters.
