Elijah Yells Eagle, 34, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Hartshorne, died Wednesday, Feb. 14 2018, at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City.
The family will welcome friends today from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne.
Elijah Yells Eagle was born on June 13, 1983, in Rapid City, South Dakota, He came to Hartshorne with his family when he was in the second grade. He graduated from Hartshorne High School and then attended Eastern State College. At that point he moved to Oklahoma City and worked at Walmart for 15 years. Elijah loved playing video games and watching movies.
Elijah is survived by his mother, Karen Pope-Yells Eagle, of Hartshorne; his father, Stan Yells Eagle, of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Chickama, of McAlester, and Kyle Yells Eagle, of Oklahoma City; a sister, Rachel Parker, of Hartshorne; grandmother, Rachell Yells Eagle, of Oklahoma City, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
