Donald "Gene" Ratliff, 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
He was born on April 10, 1928, in McAlester, to the late William and the late Elsie Smalley Ratliff. He owned and operated Little Rock Alarm Company.
Gene was preceded in death by two brothers; two sisters, and a nephew, Bill Green.
Survivors include his wife, Clois Ratliff; daughter, Teresa Bitely and husband, Jeff; grandson, Lee Bitely; great-grandsons, Aidan and Jayden Bitely; two nephews, David Ratliff and Don Green; two nieces, Marcia Boatwright and Jan Gough; three great-nephews; three great-nieces; three great-great-nephews, and three great-great-nieces.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, July 18, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, Smith-North Little Rock Chapel. Interment will follow on Thursday, July 20, at 10 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in McAlester.
