Allen Moseley Sr., 66, of Hartshorne, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at McAlester Regional Health Center.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Chapel in Hartshorne with Lonnie Clunn officiating. Burial will follow at Sulphur Cemetery, south of Hartshorne.
Pallbearers are Todd Lake, Dustin Wilson, Kenny Rowell, Darren Sensibaugh, Lee Shamasco and Jonny Isom.
Honorary pallbearers are Clint Harris, Russell Hollan, Don Riley, Terry Sensibaugh, John Rich, Alan Ray, Alfred Smith and John Kennedy.
Claud Allen Moseley Sr. was born on Feb. 8, 1951, in Stringtown, to George and Virgie (Turner) Moseley.
He grew up in the Jack Fork Community and Hartshorne.
He married Carolyn S. Bales on June 12, 1970, in Wilburton, and began working at Dolese as a loader operator, retiring at the end of December after 46 years.
In his spare time he loved to hunt and spend time with his family. He had a big heart and considered many as family.
Allen is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Moseley, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Claud Allen Moseley Jr. and Jennifer; grandchildren, Colton A. Moseley, of Moore, Shelby D. Moseley, of Tulsa, and Lacey R. Moseley and Thailer J. Moseley, both of Hartshorne; a sister-in-law, Cathy Kelley, of Marero, Louisiana, and brothers-in-law, Ambers Bales, of Okmulgee, and James Bales, of Sapulpa.
Honorary family members include, Melinda and Mike English, Alisha and Lucas Mass, Angela Klink, Kristen and Eric Turner, Jessica and Daniel Hackler, Kelli and Brandon Spears, Raina and Shawn Sparks and Lindy and Keith Ranallo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brian Joe Moseley; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Bales, and brothers-in-law, Bob Kelley and Charles Kelley.
