Christina D. Busby, 48, of McAlester, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.
Funeral services will be today at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of McAlester officiated by Dr. Brett Selby Burial will follow at Indianola Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be L.G. Hanzel, Terry Hanzel, Aaron Hanzel, Joseph Hanzel, Nate Heard and Rodney Briggs.
Christina D. Busby was born on Nov. 22, 1968, to W.A. and Nelda June (Nale) Busby. She had lived in McAlester most of her life and graduated from McAlester High School, then attended East Central University, where she graduated with a degree in accounting/finance.
She worked as an accountant at Fenton Motors Group for a number of years.
Christina was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and was an active member of First Baptist Church of McAlester, where she faithfully attended church.
She enjoyed listening to the "Voice of One" and also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and arts and crafts.
She is survived by a son, Kory Adam Busby; her mother, Nelda Busby; two brothers, Monte A. Busby, and Jeremy K. Busby, and special friends, Sherri Briggs, April Brown and Carrie Wood.
