Christina D. Busy, 48, of McAlester, died Sunday, September 10, 2017, at her mother's home in Bugtussle.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 13 at First Baptist Church of McAlester Officiating will be Dr. Brett Selby. Interment will be at Indianola Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
Christina D. Busby was born on November 22, 1968, to W.A. and Nelda June (Nale) Busby. She lived in McAlester most of her life and graduated from McAlester High School, then attended East Central University where she graduated with a degree in accounting/finance. She worked as an accountant at Fenton Motors Group for a number of years. Christina was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of McAlester, where she faithfully attended church. She enjoyed listening to the "Voice of One", and also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and arts and crafts.
She is survived by her son, Kory Adam Busby; mother, Nelda Busby; two brothers, Monte A. Busby and Jeremy K. Busby; special friends, Sherri Briggs, April Brown and Carrie Wood.
She was preceded in death by her father, W. A. Busby; grandparents, Robert and Ruby Nale and Virgil Douglas.
Pallbearers will be L.G. Hauzel, Terry Hauzel, Aaron Hauzel, Joseph Hauzel, Nate Heard and Rodney Briggs.
