Bobby Dean O'Kelley, 74, of High Hill, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at his home.
Visitation will be today from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 21, at 10 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Clunn officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Billy Smith, John Smith, Jonathan Walker, Rejeani O'Kelley, Thomas Grippando and Michael O'Kelley.
Honorary pallbearers are Dewey Wimberly, Richard Reese, Bill Howry, Dale Moore and Dearl Blaylock.
Bobby Dean O'Kelley was born on Sept. 21, 1943, in McAlester, to Henry and Dorothy (Reed) O'Kelley. He married Karen Ervin on May 22, 1964. They lived in the Kansas City, Missouri, area most of their married life where Bobby worked for the Federal Aviation Administration. They have lived in the High Hill area the past 15 years.
Bobby served in the United States Air Force for several years and was a member of the High Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
In his spare time, Bobby liked to do wood working projects and he enjoyed playing guitar with his buddies.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Karen O'Kelley; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Linda O'Kelley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Arthur Rich, Patricia and Bill Smith, and Mary and Lonnie Clunn, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Stacie and Melinda O'Kelley; two sisters, Frances Mordecai and June Williams; a brother, Jim O'Kelley, and his parents-in-law, Ed and Julia Ervin.
