Bob Davidson, 78, of Dow, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at First Baptist Church in Hartshorne with the Rev. Daniel Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
Bob was born on February 29, 1940, in Dow, to Roy and Elire (Mackey) Davidson. He married Peggy Davidson on August 10, 1963, in Wilburton. Bob retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Haileyville Public Schools and as a volunteer firefighter. He also retired as a pastor after many years and was currently a member of First Baptist Church in Hartshorne.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Davidson; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Clifton Perot, LeeAnn and Tom Hansen, Sherry and Kurt Hassler, and Amy and Marty Cooper; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Maxine Davidson; one sister, Joan and Charles Prince, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Elire Davidson, and two grandsons, Thomas Zozula and Timothy Zozula.
Pallbearers will be Brent Boling, Joe McElroy and Bob's grandsons.
