Billy L. Key, 67, of Hartshorne, died Saturday, February 24, 2018, at his home.
A Celebration of Life gathering is scheduled for today, March 1, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Angel's Diner, located at 1402 South George Nigh Expressway in McAlester.
Bill was born on October 1, 1950, in McAlester, to John Samuel and Bonnie (Blevins) Key.
Billy was married to Ramona (Holt) Key. Billy had many careers during his life, most notably his time in the construction industry, as a law librarian with the Oklahoma State Penitentiary and a specialist 4 in the United States Army.
In his free time he enjoyed boating, fishing and was an avid movie watcher. His quick wit, wisdom, squinty eyed smile and sarcasm will be dearly missed. We are honored to carry on this smart alec tradition.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona Key, of the home; children and spouses, Heather and John Kozlosky, of Longmont, Colorado, Robin Key and Mathew Wilson. of Phoenix, Arizona, Jared Holt, of Hartshorne, and Danielle and Keith Meadows, of McAlester, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bonnie, and brothers, James, Roger and Sammy.
