Ariah's Story

Ariah Hazel-Grace Young, of McAlester, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at her home at the age of 15.
Ariah was born on Sept. 10, 2001. She was a freshman at McAlester High School. She attended church and was a compassionate Christian.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. Whether she was hunting with her father, laughing, talking and shopping with her mother or playing with her brothers and sisters, Ariah always loved being with her family. She loved with all her heart no matter the situation. She helped anyone that was in need, even if it was with something as silly as pulling out her sister's tooth. All of her siblings looked up to her in a way that no one would ever believe. Ariah was a miraculously amazing girl.
When challenges would come her way, she would set them aside to help others instead of herself. Her smile and laugh could brighten even the darkest of moments and will continue to be in our hearts. All in all, Ariah Hazel-Grace Young will be forever loved and deeply missed.
